The "A" Frame first opened its doors to live jazz in June of 2001. Jazz At The "A" Frame is not and is not intended to be a profit-making endeavor. Its purpose is solely to promote jazz, America's only indigenous art form, by providing a venue for artists to display their musical wares. This venue affords the musicians the opportunity to perform in the intimate setting of a hillside home with outstanding acoustics before an appreciative and attentive audience of true jazz fans.

The events are held on Sunday afternoons from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. The "donation" for events is $45 and up and includes wine, beer, soft drinks and a lite buffet. Attendance is by reservation only by calling 310-659-9169 or by E-mailing betty@aframejazz.com. Payment must be received in advance at least ten days prior to the event. Payment may be made by sending either a check or money order to:
